AirStream is a dedicated multi-media streaming computer that uses the latest technology to process your radio station's audio for the Internet, providing a loud, consistent sound with automatic gain control, equalization, multiband gain control, peak-level control and optional stereo enhancement.
AirStream uses the Optimod-PC from Orban to tailor your audio signal to help you compete in the crowded web streaming market.
The Optimod-PC is a dedicated hardware card, fitted inside AirStream that provides full broadcast-quality Optimod processing instead of using a standalone box or resource hungry software only solution.
Audio Inputs can be balanced or unbalanced, analogue or digital, AES or SPDIF for maximum flexibility. You can also use the Optimod-PC card to play back audio files directly from your automation system.
Choose one of the 20 built-in processing presets, modify them or create your own controlling 50 different parameters. Have your web stream sound just the way you like it!
Once your station sound has been processed it then uses the supplied Opticodec PC to create an Internet Stream ready for distribution (AirStream is compatible with the Broadcast Computers Web Streaming service).
