Types of Classes Offered
- Introductory Traffic / Natural Log - This class assumes no previous radio traffic experience at all. These classes usually take a full 5 days and are scheduled only when specifically requested. This class starts with an introduction to the terminology and methods used in a broadcast station in performing the traffic and billing functions. The class ALSO covers all aspects of how Natural Log performs these functions including those topics covered in the advanced Natural Log class.
- Natural Log - This class assumes the student HAS previous radio traffic experience but is new to Natural Log 8 for Windows. This class is appropriate for students changing from another traffic software to Natural Log or new employees taking over an existing Natural Log system. This class usually takes about 4 days. These classes cover all aspects of Natural Log installation and initial setup but ALSO the topics covered in the advanced Natural Log class.
- Advanced Natural Log - This class assumes the student HAS previous radio traffic experience AND has used Natural Log [DOS or Windows version] for at least 6 months. This class is appropriate for users upgrading from Natural Log DOS to Natural Log Windows or a Natural Log Windows user who wants to upgrade their skills and assure they are using Natural Log Windows version to its full potential. This class usually wraps up in 3 days. This class is structured to familiarize the students with all Natural Log functions, including some advanced and little-used functions, but also allows for a lot of question and answer sessions regarding specific issues the students have with Natural Log. Students are encouraged to bring actual Natural Log data backups from their stations for class use in solving specific issues and for exploring more complex, station-specific questions.
