News Caster is an integrated script editing, bulletin compiling and play out tool for your Sports or News Bulletins.
Easily create and modify scripts, dragging your actuality right into the bulletins themselves so that when the script is displayed on screen, the audio files are played out using the built-in cut player. If you prefer, you can also print out the scripts too (local and network printers supported).
Easily compile bulletins
Compile multiple bulletins easily by dragging and re-ordering your various scripts. The audio files are automatically loaded with each script and you can save multiple bulletins for later recall.
Hotkeys
News Caster also includes hotkeys for playback of news stabs and liners within the bulletin too.
Networkable
Additional network clients can be purchased so that multiple team members can work on preparing scripts and compiling bulletins from elsehwere on your network.
Audio Switching
News Caster supports the Broadcast Tools ACS8.2 and SS8.2 audio routing function to select from 8 different inputs which can be routed to two audio outputs.
News Caster can also generate a Red Light switch through one of the above devices.
