Transmitter Plots
[TXC-FM]

Take the guesswork out of placing your RSL FM transmitter with a Broadcast Computers Transmitter Plot - at a budget price!

For a given National Grid co-ordinate (in the UK or Europe) we can present a predicted coverage map (sometimes called a pixel plot) for an FM transmitter, or VHF/UHF directional link system.

Predicated coverage maps for RSL stations are provided with receive antennas located in cars as well as the more conventional roof-top ariel. This can produce a more realistic coverage area (which could be presented to advertisers for example).

For UHF/VHF links we can suggest power levels, antenna heights and frequencies that will work best for a given path, identifying geological obstructions that may affect the link.

A variety of options are available showing mono and and potential stereo coverage (we recommend mono for RSL stations to maximise perceived coverage) and different signal strength areas similar to BBC coverage area maps.

If you have a specific requirement or question, please contact us.

Plots are emailed as JPEG files, together with an overlay file to use with Google Earth(TM).
