The Broadcast Computers studio clock is a pc and internet based accurate time source with some additional extras!
Displaying the current time, in an analogue clock format, Studio Clock also includes four additional 'light box' displays on-screen which are controlled by external contact closures (such as Mic Live or Phone Ringers) and displays those on screen too. A simple joystick connection and a couple of resistors is all that is needed, although Studio Clock also supports Broadcast Tools and Measurement Computing CIO-DIO devices.
Studio Clock is an ideal replacement for a Rugby MSF radio clock, particularly where the signal may not be possible (in a basement for example) as time is synchronized using the Internet regularly ensuring that the clock display is always on time.
The addition of the additional 'light-boxes' on screen and the fact that the software will run on a PC of very low specification will often mean that in terms of wiring and hardware, Studio Clock is a much more cost-effective solution.
